L'Arc de Triomphe, Wrapped by Christo and Jeanne-Claude was the artists’ last major artwork installed posthumously in September 2021 in Paris.
This work of land art twisted the common reality of one of the French capital’s landmarks provoking surprise, critiques or even annoyance, thus stating the success of the artwork itself.
The materiality of the fabric wrapping the Arch is key to creating a shimmering volume that reacts in always different ways with the change of light.
